Vacation Bible School

We love to minister to the children in our community. At Dinsmore Baptist Church, we offer VBS free of charge. This ministry allows us to share the gospel of Christ to all that attend.

When is VBS at Dinsmore Baptist Church?

We have found the morning VBS provides a great place for children to come during the summer, Monday-Friday 9am-noon, June 10, 2019-June 14, 2019.

What Age Groups Can Attend?

VBS at Dinsmore Baptist is opened to children that have completed K4-6th grade.

What’s The Theme For VBS?

We will be using Lifeway’s “In The Wild” VBS curriculum. Kids will explore the adventures of the Wild. What a fun way to share with children the excitement of the gospel.

VBS 2019 – In The Wild

Grab your camera—wild encounters are coming!

Throw on your camera strap and buckle your seatbelt. VBS 2019 takes you on a wild adventure—with elephants and egrets, polar bears and penguins, cockatoos and crocodiles. As you seek out exotic animals, you’ll also find snapshots of real-life encounters with Jesus in Scripture. Kids go from bewildered to believing as they get “In the Wild” at this summer’s VBS.

How Do I Volunteer To Work VBS?

We are always in need of people who will give up their time to minister during VBS. If you would like to volunteer this year, please contact the church offices for information. We will be glad to answer all of your questions.

VOLUNTEERS MEETING May 20, 4pm in the fellowship hall. For further information contact Loretta Gregory/Church Office.

How Do I Register for VBS?

Complete the Registration Form and send to Dinsmore Baptist Church.

What Does the Missions Offering Go Towards?

We encourage children to bring a missions donation during the week if at all possible. These monies and supplies will go to support the local Florida Baptist Children’s Home.

The children’s home can use school supplies, paper products, toiletries, and other functional items. If you would like to know more about what they are in need of, be sure to contact the VBS director. They can give you guidance on what to donate.

Our Passion For VBS

It is our goal to provide kids in the community a place to learn about Jesus. Also, this serves as a way for parents to get the child care relief they need.

Each day, children will rotate through Bible study, crafts, snack, and missions. We do this program free of charge and it is open to the entire community.

We hope you will join us this year!
